I am part of a group of ridiculously talented friends in a project called ’10 on 10′. The project started a few years back from a mom/photographer who’s goal was to ‘find life and beauty among the ordinary things in her day.’ It’s become a fun and interactive way for bloggers to document a snap shot of their lives….once a month on the tenth taking a photo an hour for ten consecutive hours.
I spent this month’s ’10 on 10′ documenting Ben’s trip to Children’s Mercy for an MRI. I had decided that it was ‘the day’ to photograph my ’10 on 10′ after reading my inspiration email from Simon Sinek upon waking up (image 1).
Ben was such a stud and super brave. There were a few times during the day that the camera just wasn’t a thought, but I did manage to pull it out and grab some shots. Good news is that by 6:00 we had received word from our awesome Pediatrician that all is well. Hooray!
